Chelsea Plans Early 2025 Sale for Mudryk
Chelsea are reportedly keen to offload winger Mykhailo Mudryk during the January transfer window next year, after he struggled to make an impact since joining the club.
The 23-year-old Ukraine international – who joined the Blues last January on a £89-million deal – has played just 61 minutes in the English Premier League this season; not to mention, his form has languished, pushing him down the pecking order following the arrivals of forwards, Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho.
However, a permanent transfer appears unlikely as clubs typically avoid major spending during the winter window.
Marseille have shown interest in taking Mudryk on loan, throwing him a lifeline for more playing time and to regain his prowess. Bayern Munich have also expressed interest, although a move to the Ligue 1 side seems more feasible.
Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca has previously voiced frustration over Mudryk’s lacklustre performances, and a loan move would benefit both parties. By January, his future will be revealed.
